Winning once was enough to surprise Richard, a lottery player from Brunswick, Ohio. Less than a month later, he returned to the same gas station and did it again.
The Ohio man won the lottery twice after buying two different scratch-off tickets at Brunswick Valero, located at 4236 Center Road. His two prizes totaled $15,000 before taxes, according to the Ohio Lottery and multiple reports.
The Ohio Lottery has publicly identified the winner as Richard from Brunswick.
Richard’s First Ohio Lottery Win Came in March
Richard regularly bought scratch-off tickets from Brunswick Valero, a location the Ohio Lottery described as his favorite gas station.
On March 28, 2026, that routine produced a $5,000 prize when Richard played an Ultimate $5,000,000 Scratch-Off. (UPI)
It could easily have remained a memorable one-time win.
Instead, Richard went back.
On April 24, less than four weeks later, he bought a Billion Scratch-Off from the same Valero location and uncovered a $10,000 prize. (UPI)
The Ohio Lottery later highlighted his story in its June 2026 Ticket Seller publication, confirming that both prizes came from Brunswick Valero.
